In about 2 years the biggest dam project in Central America will be started. A dam, whose energie will not be used for the own country (there is already enough energie) but will be produced in order to export it to the USA. That way, different investors of the United States are involved and make this project progress. Of course as so often, the persons mainly affected are the poor classes of the local population (in this case Indians). Much land and 1½ village wouldl be flooded.
Therefore, they started a pressure group against this mammuth-project. And at one evening of action we should participate with a presentation. Many speeches were made so that our play absoluetely replenished this evening livening up the people: All of a sudden everybody was wide awake standing in the doorway. The kids feld well understanding the importance of their work and the fight with our banner for another world!
