Presentation in the University of Costa Rica – San José for the Day of the Child

Once more, we had the opportunity to appear in San José! This time, all the expenses were reimbursed: for the bus, the hotel and the food. The money was from UNICEF found by the Depature of Cultural Affairs. With the work “otro mundo es posible” (another world is possible), discussions about the curlture and the poverty in Costa Rica were opened. The audience was made up of children for the most part. At the end of the work, these specatators were keen on becoming acquainted with the artists.

This was a great experience, watching the young persons of the group, who tried to behave like adults intensely, talking with the small spectators. Once again, the presentation was a great success in spite of some indispostions as for instance the very small stage and the exit, that was only possible on one side. In the closing round of talks Franz-Christian Grimm and Maria de la Luz Blanco Rodríguez were seizing the opportunity to talk about the cultural situation in the poor districts of

Costa Rica. These days, the kids were feeling like real artists. They pleased being admired and enjoyed the swimming-pool of the hotel.
