Presentation in Rivas

This presentation in Rivas in the
evening of the 02.10.04 was of special quality in two different
ways. It was the first circus show without Franz Grimm as well
as the first show with entrance fee. Altogether, admission tickets
to the value of 33.000 Colones have been bought. Although, we
had to go halves with the school in Linda Vista / Rivas because
they cared for the arrangements of the venue and the advertisement,
we earned a tidy sum.
The audience consisted mainly of children who gathered immediately
in the center of the gymnasium, sitting in front of the actors.
Altogether, approx 150 spectators came in order to see the show. |
The work of the older group, "otro
mundo es posible", was opened by the dancers of the school
in Pavónes. This dancing-group is a second great project
of Vida Nueva.

Shortly before and especially during
the presentation of the dancers, our presentation suddenly seemed
possible not to take place: One of the kids refused all of a
sudden to appear on the stage and initially the rest of the
kids did not manage to persuade him as a group. |

A hectic change of the Volunteers
(this time just one week) is always very hard for the kids.
However, In the end, the sense of community managed to appear
on the stage unitedly.
For this presentation Luz and Jullian
had bought and fitted extra strong light bulbs. And this was
really necessary:
In spite of this strong bulbs nearly all the fotos became
bad due to the darkness in the gymnasium. |
Unique consolation: The pictures of the fire show became much better.
