Christmas celebration

In the middle of December, the Volunteers of Vida Nueva decided to organize all in all four Christmas celebrations. Apart from the art group of Tierra Prometida, the football team of Cocorí as well as poor families and former drug addicts of Pérez Zeledón they organised a Christmas party for the circus group of Tierra Prometdia, too.

Making preparations, the Volunteers obtained Christmas presents of San Isidros´ Tiendas for two weeks by begging, because as a highlight of the party, everybody should receive a nice present.

It was also made sure, that there was an appropriate decoration with chains of light and of course a Christmas tree. The programme for the approximately three-hour Christmas celebration consisted of many exercises games, that had to be cancelled partly, owed to the heavy heat. But eating cookies and cakes as well as the visit of the Santa Claus with a gigantic sack of presents were also not supposed to be missed for a real Christmas party. All in all it was a nice celebration, that everybody will certainly keep in mind for long!
