Presentation at the Intercultural Festival in the park of Buenos
Aires
|
The first presentation of the new
school year. This time, the venue was more way:
The public bus took us after a journey of one and a half hours
to San Isidros’ southern neighbour town Buenos Aires.
For the kids, it was a little world trip, because most of them
did not see another city apart from their own yet and partly
did not even know, |
|
|
|
that there is a city called Buenos
Aires in Costa Rica.
This Intercultural Festival was about the communication between
the Costa Rican people or Ticos, how they call themselves and
their native |

rural population, whose contribution
was the presentation of their traditional dances.
The Circus of Tierra Prometida presented, of course, its work
“el viaje del fuego”, that went well with the spectators.

Afterwards, in the nearby río,
the hunger for river of the kids was finally satisfied. A past
driving little bus was kind enough to take us to the some kilometers
away water, |

where the little artists romped around
for about two hours.
On the return journey to San Isidro de El General, all the kids
were sleeping, being overcome by the impressions |

of the day.
It was the first circus show for Alexandra Graf from Vienna,
who has experience in practicing with youthful circus groups
and who will working in the project till the end of July. For
the Austrian Mathias Aug- |
