The association works with steet kids, with "menores trabajadores" (underage workers: youth under 16 years old who work illegally in order to support their families) and homeless youth. In recent years due to the increase in migration from the country to the city, slums and precarios were created in San Isidro. The population the association works with mostly come from these areas.

In these same precarios domestic violence has also increased. For this reason "Vida Nueva" founded an office providing legal advice and psychological help to women facing domestic violence.
